Planetensucher
Planet Seeker
A silent scout of stainless steel – with an eye that looks back.

The idea behind it
„The Planetensucher is the spaceship of an alien species that neither negotiates nor welcomes. It searches, analyses, takes. What appealed to me was that something beautiful – smooth, symmetrical, precise – can be unsettling at the same time. Beauty does not have to be harmless.“
What you see
An elongated, drop-shaped plate of brushed stainless steel, pointed at the top and ending in three jagged tips below, hangs on the wall. At its centre sits a round disc with a glass element, cut narrow like an eye and shimmering from green to amber. When switched on, the light lays a warm halo around itself on the wall. It used to be called Planet Killer; the new name is a little more diplomatic.
