The idea behind it
„A Dyson sphere is an imagined megastructure that encloses a sun to harness its energy. I was fascinated by the idea of a civilisation that has come that far. This light picture is my attempt to make it visible.“
What you see
At its centre sits a glass sphere – the sun – set in a web of stainless steel and fluorescent veins. Around it, glowing paths, glass capsules and small points of light drift across the surface like space probes. Under black light, a second, violet-green world emerges.
