The Big Bang
The beginning of everything – and it glows even when the light is off.

The idea behind it
„The Big Bang is the moment when everything came out of nothing. I didn't want to show it as a scientific model, but as an explosion of energy, chaos and beauty – the beginning of space, time and perhaps of imagination too.“
What you see
At the centre, a green sphere glows within a mesh of pierced metal. Around it lie rings of steel, glass domes and crystalline fragments, like planets in a young universe. Fluorescent paints make the picture glow on even without power; UV light intensifies the effect, and the LEDs shine steadily or in motion.
