The idea behind it
„I was inspired by the idea of a fusion reactor: meaning arises from energy. At the bottom sits the reactor as the origin, at the top a sphere as insight, and in between a clear connection. Where does something begin – and what follows from it?“
What you see
Slender stainless-steel struts lead upwards from a round base like a tunnel. In the lower half a sphere of light glows; at the top sits a second glass sphere full of golden inclusions. The polished surfaces reflect the light and make the column almost float in the room.
